Kevin O'Brien

Kevin O’Brien

General Manager

Kevin O’Brien leads the Tetra team as General Manager. Kevin is an avid oenophile and a WSET Diploma holder. Before starting up the brands of Tetra and Expression, Kevin’s background includes working with Diageo Chateau and Estates where he managed financial programs for the entire east coast sales operation and worked on the major projects such as the Chalone Wine Group acquisition and integration. In addition to his Wine and Spirits Trust Diploma, Kevin holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a BA in Economics from UCLA.

Patrick Mahaney

As winemaker for Tetra, Patrick Mahaney oversees all aspects of wine production. With extensive winemaking experience in Napa valley and around the world, Mahaney is well equipped to create intense yet balanced wines with true Napa Valley character.  Before coming to Tetra, Mahaney spent over 20 years at Robert Mondavi Winery in Oakville as the highest ranking member of the winemaking team (not named Mondavi...).  Additionally, Patrick has a strong educational background that includes a degree in enology from University of California, Davis.

Megan O’Donnell

Napa native Megan O’Donnell grew up with a love of great food and a deep appreciation of the beauty and culture of Napa Valley. Naturally, she developed a passion for the world class wines the valley produced.

With a diverse background in retail she began her career in wine sales and marketing in 2002 as the Director of Hospitality for Ballentine Vineyards. During her three years at Ballentine, she opened their retail room, developed a successful direct sales program, managed all aspects of their hospitality and events program and launched their wine club.

Classes at Napa Valley College in General Viticulture and Wines of the World inspired her to learn more about the appellations and unique wine styles of Napa Valley producers and she took the opportunity to gain more knowledge first hand by working with collective tasting rooms in St. Helena and Rutherford.

In 2005 Megan joined the Hill & Wollack Wine Estates team and currently manages all aspects of the Tetra direct sales program and the hospitality and retail program at Silverado Trail Wine Studio - where Tetra is both produced and sold.

Outside of wine sales, Megan is passionate about raising her four year old son Joseph, trying new restaurants (and dining in her many favorites) as much as she can, and spending time outdoors hiking and exploring the wonderful California scenery from Dillon Beach to Muir Woods with her son.
